This policy explains what personal information the Inniv8 website (inniv8.com) collects, why, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We have written it to describe what this site actually does, in plain words. If something here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it.
The short version
- If you send us an enquiry, we use your details to reply to you and, if you want to work with us, to do that work. That is all.
- This site has no analytics, no advertising trackers, and sets no cookies for ordinary visitors.
- We never sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you at any time by emailing contact@inniv8.com.
Who we are
Inniv8 is a technology services business based in the Philippines. For the purposes of the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), we are the personal information controller for the information collected through this website.

What we collect, and when
When you use our contact form
The form asks for your name, email address and message, which service you are interested in, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number and company name. When you press send, these details are emailed to our own inbox at contact@inniv8.com. They are not saved in the website’s database.
When you email or call us
We receive whatever you choose to send us: usually your name, contact details and what you need help with.
Automatically, when you visit any page
Like almost every website, our server records a basic log of each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page you asked for, the page that linked you here, and your browser type. We use these logs only to keep the site running and secure, for example to investigate errors or attacks. They are deleted automatically after about six weeks.
To stop spam
To protect the contact form from automated spam, we use your IP address to limit how many messages can be sent from one address in an hour. That record expires after one hour. If a submission is blocked as spam, we keep a short note of it (the IP address, the time, and a brief summary of why it was blocked) so we can check that real messages are not being caught by mistake. Only the 50 most recent blocked submissions are kept. Older ones are overwritten automatically.
What we do not collect
We do not use analytics tools such as Google Analytics, advertising or social media tracking pixels, or session recording. We do not build profiles of visitors. There are no user accounts for the public and no comments on this site.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies for ordinary visitors. The only cookies it uses are the login cookies WordPress sets for our own staff when they sign in to manage the site.
One exception is outside our control. Our Contact page shows a map provided by Google Maps. When that page loads, your browser connects to Google to display the map, which shares your IP address with Google, and Google may set its own cookies. Google handles that information under its own privacy policy. If you prefer to avoid this, you can contact us by email or phone without opening the Contact page.
Why we use your information
- To reply to you and discuss what you need. This is based on your request to us.
- To prepare a proposal and deliver work if you decide to become a client. This is necessary to enter into and carry out our agreement with you.
- To keep the site and our systems secure, including blocking spam and attacks. This is our legitimate interest in protecting the business and the people who use the site.
- To meet legal obligations, such as keeping invoices and business records as Philippine law requires.
We will not send you marketing emails unless you ask to receive them, and you can stop them at any time.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where it is needed to run the service, and never sell it.
- Our hosting provider. This website and our email run on a server we manage ourselves, rented from Contabo and located in Singapore. Contabo provides the hardware and network. It does not use the information on the server for its own purposes.
- Google, only when you view the map on our Contact page, as described above.
- Authorities or professional advisers, only where the law requires it or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
Information stored outside the Philippines
Because our server is in Singapore, information you send through this site is stored there. We remain responsible for it under the Data Privacy Act wherever it is stored, and we protect it with the same measures described below. We also work with clients in other countries, so correspondence with you may pass between the Philippines and the country you are in.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to two years after our last contact, so we have context if you get in touch again. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
- Client records: for as long as we work together, and afterwards for as long as Philippine tax and business law requires us to keep invoices and contracts.
- Server logs: about six weeks, then deleted automatically.
- Spam protection records: one hour for rate limiting; the 50 most recent blocked submissions for the blocked log.
How we protect it
The whole site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, including the contact form. We keep the server patched and monitored, restrict who can access it, block repeated failed login attempts, and take regular backups. Only people at Inniv8 who need your information to help you can see it.
No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach ever affected your personal information in a way that put you at real risk, we would tell you and the National Privacy Commission as the law requires.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:
- be told how your information is used, which is what this policy is for;
- get a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- have it corrected if it is wrong or incomplete;
- object to how we use it, or withdraw consent you have given;
- have it deleted or blocked when we no longer have a valid reason to keep it;
- receive it in a commonly used electronic format;
- complain to the National Privacy Commission, and claim damages if you are harmed by a violation of your rights.
To use any of these rights, email contact@inniv8.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, so that we never hand your information to someone else. We will reply within 30 days, and usually much sooner. It costs you nothing.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the National Privacy Commission. If you live outside the Philippines, you may also have rights under the privacy laws of your own country. Tell us where you are and we will handle your request on that basis too.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, tell us and we will delete it.
Work we do for clients
This policy covers our own website. When we build, host or manage websites and systems for clients, we may handle information about their customers. We do that only on the client’s instructions and under our agreement with them, and that client’s own privacy policy applies. If your question is about one of their services, please contact them first, and we will help them respond.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so clearly here.
